Italian Pundit Mario Sconcerti: “Inter Is The Closest Team To Juventus”

Italian pundit, Mario Sconcerti spoke to RMC Sport ahead of the upcoming Serie A season wherein he admitted he believes that Juventus are way ahead of the rest of their competitors for the scudetto.

“It seems to me that Juventus is still far ahead of the other teams, Inter is the one that has made the most effort to get closer to the Bianconeri,” he said.

As part of the interview Sconcerti also spoke on Inter’s pursuit of Luka Modric that has hit a roadblock of sorts with Real Madrid continuing to stall any sort of progress and delay their final decision in a bid to try and deter Inter and force them to give up on the Croatian maestro.

“Do not forget that Florentino Perez is not the owner of Real Madrid, which is instead led by a group. However, Real Madrid is a club that is changing dramatically and this seems a bit dangerous for a club like that.”
