Inter will make the signing of Keita Balde from Monaco official some time next week according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter and Monaco have an agreement in principle over a transfer involving the winger using the loan with right to redemption transfer formula for a deal that will total around €30 million. The way the fee will be split between loan fee and redemption fee remains to be defined and the report goes on to state that with twists or turns expected then it should not be too difficult to define the figures.

Today Inter are leaving for Madrid where they will take on Atletico Madrid in a pre-season friendly tomorrow. The move for Keita Balde will be put on the back-burner while Nerazzurri officials are in the Spanish capital where the opportunity to meet with Real Madrid over other transfer target Luka Modric could arise.

The report concludes by mentioning what Inter’s pursuit of Keita Balde could mean for the future of Yann Karamoh. If Antonio Candreva stays and Keita Balde comes in, Karamoh is more than likely going out on loan for this season.
