Ex-Juventus defender, Julio Cesar (not to be confused with Inter’s former goalkeeper of the same name) spoke to TuttoMercatoWeb about his thoughts and expectations on this upcoming season.
“In recent years Juventus has been too strong for the other teams. They had competitive teams, first the Serie A was more hard-fought, now Juventus team is too far ahead of the others. Inter is in theory a formation that can fight for the Scudetto but we must not forget Napoli, another very strong team.”
The upcoming Serie A season will be an exciting one to watch. Top teams in Italy have made great new signings and have improved very much since last year. Inter, Napoli and Milan have added players to help their teams fight for the Scudetto, while Juve have also made some historic moves, signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid. Inter also awaits another huge profile signing with Modric possibly on his way from Real Madrid.
