For the first time all summer, Atletico Madrid coach and ex-Inter midfielder, Diego Pablo Simeone was able to hold a training session with a full squad at his disposal.

The Spanish side are to take on Inter tonight, in what will be their final pre-season game before meeting with city rivals Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup this coming Wednesday in Talinn, Estonia.

The Colchoneros held a double training session to prepare for both games yesterday that saw World Cup winning duo Antoine Griezmann and Lucas Hernandez return. The two had a specific training session with coach, Oscar Ortega but it is still possible for the two to receive minutes from Simeone against Inter.

The match between Inter and Atletico Madrid will be played tonight at 21.05 local time in the Spanish capital and it will be the Nerazzurri’s first visit to Atletico Madrid’s newly constructed stadium, the Wanda Metropolitano.
