Inter is done playing in the International Champions cup and after the 1-0 victory against Spanish side Atletico Madrid yesterday, Inter finished with two wins and one draw.
Milano based newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport sums up the performances of the Inter players following the win against Los Colchoneros last night in Madrid: “Among the better players yesterday is Asamoah, who is perfect without making any mistakes, Milan Skriniar who completely wiped out Diego Costa and, above all, Marcelo Brozovic who already is proving how fundamental he is for Inter coach Luciano Spalletti’s tactics despite having only a few training sessions in his legs.
“The players that are in a little bit of trouble is Mauro Icardi, who missed out on a goal after a good combination with Lautaro Martinez, Karamoh who complicated things, Joao Miranda who was saved by VAR who disallowed Correa’s goal and Vecino whostill does not have what it takes to play deep in the pitch.”
