However, it is reported it is only an ankle bruise and should not take long to fully recover. Nevertheless, his condition will be monitored over the coming days but it is likely he will be fully fit for the season opener away to Sassuolo next Sunday.
Signed from Juventus on a free transfer earlier this Summer, the Ghanaian has had a terrific pre-season. With so many quality signings in this mercato it will be hard to agree who is the best signing, but Asamoah has already exerted his influence and showcasing just why he helped Juventus win all those league titles in a row.
