Barcelona sporting director Ariedo Braida has almost completely ruled out Rafinha exiting the Blaugrana during this transfer window.

“Rafinha will probably remain at Barcelona, he is a boy who has great football qualities, can decide the matches with his skilful touch of the ball and can do it here or somewhere else,” Braida revealed in an interview with Radio Sportiva amid continued paper talk that refuses to give up on the idea of Rafinha making a return to Inter.

He concluded, “Last season he came back from a serious knee injury and he did great things at Inter, he is a very interesting player that is comfortable at Barcelona.”

Rafinha spent the second half of last season on loan with Inter and while there was an option to make the move permanent, Inter, due to financial fair play did not take up the option despite the player himself showing a strong desire to remain in the Nerazzurri shirt going forward.
