Calcioefinanza.it, a site dedicated to the financial side of football, has taken a look at the top 10 earners within Serie A that has had a bit of a shake-up over the summer with thanks to the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus in particular.

Unsurprisingly, it is the multi-time world player of the year topping the lost with a monstrous €30 million annual salary.

Gonzalo Higuain, who has swapped Juventus for Milan, is in second place with a salary of €10 million and Juventus midfielder Paulo Dybala has the bronze medal with an annual €7.5 million salary.

Inter captain Mauro Icardi is the first Nerazzurri player to appear on the list and his €4.9 million salary places him seventh. If circulating reports are to be believed however, Icardi could soon find himself climbing up the list with paper talk suggesting he is set to be given a new bumper contract by Inter bosses in a bid to deter interest in his services.
