Keita Balde will join Inter in a deal that could potentially total €40 million if the Nerazzurri are to take up their option to turn the loan move permanent according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

With just one non-EU spot left to fill after the signing of Lautaro Martinez, Inter were forced to chose wisely when it came to filling their second and final spot.

Keita was and still is viewed as the ideal player to complete Inter manager Luciano Spalletti’s attack for the coming season due to his ability to play in various positions and the fact he can be Spalletti’s flair player. With all things considered, this lead to Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio abandoning his pursuit of Arturo Vidal the report suggests.

The 23-year-old has Serie A experience behind him having made over 100 appearances in the league for Lazio and presents a different option to anything that Spalletti already has available to him.
