It is looking like there will be a Seville derby to see who can capture Inter’s Portuguese international midfielder Joao Mario Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di marzio reports.

According to the report, Sevilla have joined cross town rivals Real Betis in expressing an interest in signing the former Sporting midfielder who desperately wants a move away from the Serie A and Inter with the Nerazzurri equally wanting him to leave.

Di Marzio reports further that with Roma being on the verge of snapping up French international midfielder Steven N’Zonzi, the Rojiblancos see the Inter outcast as the ideal replacement. So far no negotiations have begun but are expected to take off once the Frenchman leaves for the Italian capital.

This is good news for the Nerazzurri who want to offload the player they signed two summers ago for a whopping €40 million but who has never lived up to expectations.
