Inter outcast Joao Mario could soon find himself at the centre of a transfer tug of war between Seville’s top two clubs, Sevilla and Real Betis according to a report from transfer market guru Alfredo Pedulla.

Betis are ahead as things stand largely due in part to the fact Sevilla’s move for the attacking midfielder hinges on whether coveted Steven N’Zonzi remains with the club or not. Betis are looking to secure the 25-year-old Portuguese international on a loan with redemption option basis although this transfer formula does not totally convince the Nerazzurri who would prefer an outright transfer or at the very least a loan with redemption obligation deal.

Should N’Zonzi, who has attracted interest from Inter’s Serie A companions Roma, move on, Sevilla could offer a more suitable deal to that of their arch nemesis to Inter for the player who was part of Portugal’s EURO 2016 winning side, the report goes on to suggest.
