Former Napoli and Udinese director Pierpaolo Marino spoke on his favourite three deals of the transfer window, which includes Inter’s signing of Stefan de Vrij from Lazio.

“As a director myself, the operation I liked the most this transfer window was the one conducted by Juventus for Cristiano Ronaldo. I appreciated the courage of the technical and marketing investment, while in second place I put de Vrij on a free transfer to Inter and Krzysztof Piatek’s move to Genoa in third. Now to close this market, Napoli need to make a great signing, maybe Mario Balotelli,” Marino said in an interview with Tuttosport.

Marino proceeded to give his pre-season prediction as to how the Serie A table will look come May next year.

“Juventus are still the favourites to win but the Milanese clubs have made decisive steps forward therefore my standings look like this; Juve, Inter, Napoli, Milan, Roma and Lazio.”
