Miranda is currently beating Stefan de Vrij to start Inter’s first game of the season away to Sassuolo this weekend according to a report from Sport Mediaset which details some of those who will be starting in Luciano Spalletti’s 4-2-3-1 system.

The Brazilian defender will partner Milan Skriniar at the MAPEI Stadium and the report goes on to state that both Lautaro Martinez and Matteo Politano will be given their competitive debuts for the Nerazzurri playing in the three behind Mauro Icardi. Meanwhile, it is between Ivan Perisic and Keita Balde to fill the third attacking role behind the captain.

One player who certainly will not be playing on Sunday night is Radja Nainggolan, who continues to remain sidelined by a thigh injury sustained earlier in pre-season. It also remains to be seen whether or not Sime Vrsaljko will be given his first appearance in an Inter jersey as he continues to push himself to get to the required fitness levels in time.
