FC Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde is very pleased with what he has seen during the preseason with Brazilian midfielder Rafinha.
During the official press conference after the Trofeo Gamper had been concluded the Blaugrana manager spoke about the future of Rafinha who was involved in the third goal of the match and who has been linked with a move back to Inter: “I am counting on him, he is doing really well.”
However, Valverede did leave the backdoor open to the possibility of Rafinha leaving stating that: “We will see what happens from now until August 31st. I can’t wait until the transfer window closes so I can see who I can count on but I am really very happy with Rafinha’s perforemnces.”
Rafinha joined the Nerazzurri earlier this year during the January transfer window, on loan from Barcelona and played 17 matches in the Serie A scoring twice in the process.
