The transfer saga regarding Luka Modric’s proposed transfer to Inter will reach a definite conclusion tonight Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport report.

According to the report this evening the long anticipated meeting between the Croatian midfielder and Real Madrid President Florentino Perez is scheduled to take place. At this meeting the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder will reiterate his desire to leave the Los Merengues and ask Florentino Perez to honor the gentleman’s agreement that exists between the two that states that Modric should be allowed to leave when he wants to.

The Gazzetta report further that Inter are not hopeful but are monitoring the situation closely should the meeting result in the Croatian international being able to convince the Real President to let him go.
