Italian Pundit Battistini: “Inter Have Been Intelligent In The Mercato”

Former Udinese goalkeeper turned Pundit Graziano Battistini spoke on the transfer window, in particular some moves that could still be made, including Luka Modric-Inter.

“I expect some more transfers here and there. Luka Modric at Inter? I find it hard to believe that Real Madrid would let him go after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure, unless they already have a replacement ready,” he said in an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb.

Battistini then praised Inter for their performance in the transfer market.

“It has been an intelligent and targeted transfer market for Inter. Inter finally signed players who were functional to Luciano Spalletti’s system.”

He concluded by talking on his favourite for the Scudetto.

“Juventus remains in pole position to win the scudetto and with The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo they have proven to deserve to remain in the lead. People must keep an eye on Milan too, in a short time they have done very smart things and are building a team with more sense than last year.”
