Prior to his official presentation as an Inter player, Sime Vrsaljko spoke with Inter TV.

“I have been in Italy for 3 years previously and I have always enjoyed it. I wanted to go back and I talked a lot with Brozovic and Perisic and they gave me some good advice,” he opened before proceeding to discuss his past experience in Italy.

“I spent two beautiful years at Sassuolo and I improved a lot with Eusebio Di Francesco. To go back and greet the fans on Sunday will be exciting.”

The Croatian international defender concluded by promising to do his best in Nerazzurri and revealed his excitement about playing in the Milan derby.

“I can promise that I will always do my best on the field to win every game and help the team. I can also play as a fifth man in the defence, but it will be up to the coach where I play. I can not wait to play in the Milan derby, it is a great game.”
