No Skriniar & Nainggolan But Dalbert & Lautaro To Start For Inter Vs Sassuolo

Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport predicts Inter’s probable starting formation in tomorrow’s Serie A opener against Reggio-Emilia side Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium.

According to the report today “during and after the practice, a decision will be made whether or not Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar will play. The central defender has had a muscular problem and has trained separately, but during yesterday’s practice he was back with the group. This means that we could see Brazilian defender Joao Miranda next to Dutch player Stefan De Vrij, because now that Inter has alternatives there is no point in risking anything.

“What is sure is the absence of Radja Nainggoolan, Lautaro Martinez will take his place as the trequartista. D’Ambrosio and Dalbert will take the defensive wings and Politano is also ready to put on the Inter jersey against his old team. Also Inter’s final transfer, Keita Baldé, will get the call for tomorrow’s game” the Corriere predicts.

Probable starting line-up:

Inter (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Miranda, Dalbert; Brozovic, Asamoah; Politano, Martinez, Perisic; Icardi.
