Former Napoli goalkeeper and trusted assistant manager to legendary Italian manager Arrigo Sacchi, Pietro Carmignani has attempted to raise the Inter squad’s spirits after the opening day 1-0 defeat away to Sassuolo.

“Inter made a good squad in the summer and putting yesterday’s match aside, they have great potential and can not hide. Luciano Spalletti now has to roll up his sleeves,” Carmignani said in an interview with SportParma.
