Former Italian international striker Francesco ‘Ciccio’ Graziani reviewed Inter’s performance in their 1-0 defeat to Sassuolo last night, accusing the Nerazzurri team as not being hungry enough to get wins.

“I saw a lack of malice, personality and desire to win, and it is something that honestly worries me,” Graziani said in an interview with Radio Sportiva.

“Against Atletico Madrid the team had given a great impression of themselves and remember there was no Nainggolan and Skriniar playing. A group, with all that quality, should have won against Sassuolo though and this team worries me because they is not hungry.”

It has often happened in the past that when Inter had to prove something, they then disappointed. The veterans from the World Cup were perhaps not in top condition. If Spalletti did not let them play, it is because, apart from Brozovic, nobody felt like playing. Yet again, the hunger is missing. They all want to be protagonists, but only outside off the pitch.”
