Italian pundit Giancarlo Marocchi spoke on Inter’s potential and which player he is most looking forward to see play for the Nerazzurri.

“Inter have absolutely great potential and it is now up to their manager Luciano Spalletti to make the most of that. The player I am most looking forward to seeing on the pitch for Inter is Radja Nainggolan,” Marocchi said in an interview with Sky Sport.

Marocchi proceeded to speak about Inter’s performance in the summer transfer window – a window that saw no less than seven new faces come through the door – as well as why he thinks Inter finished fourth last year rather than higher up in the standings.

“The Nerazzurri have strengthened considerably with thanks to the transfer market, and I say that if last year they came fourth only on the last day, it was the coach’s fault. Spalletti opted for choices that in the long run turned out to be counterproductive.”
