Rafinha’s father and agent Mazinho is in Seville dealing with Real Betis over a possible transfer involving his son according to various reports coming out of Spain.

Estadio Deportivo and Rac1 state that Betis have sparked an interest in the former Inter loan star and detail that it will affect Inter in two ways.

Come January, having missed out on signing another midfielder in the recently closed transfer window, Inter are likely to go out shopping for a new one and Rafinha will be off limits if he completes a move to the Andalusian side.

Secondly, Rafinha’s move to the Estadio Benito Villamarin affects Inter’s bid to get Joao Mario off of the club’s books. Betis appeared to be front runners for the Portuguese last week and if they bring in Rafinha, they will completely relinquish their interest in Joao Mario and thus leave Inter looking for another new home for the 25-year-old.
