Torino midfielder Daniele Baselli has joined the list of doubts for Granata manager Walter Mazzarri for this weekend’s game away to Inter according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian midfielder picked up a knock to his right knee in training on Tuesday and as a precautionary measure, so to not aggravate the injury, he did not take part in training yesterday. His condition is to be evaluated in the lead up to the game but in all likelihood – as per the Milan based news outlet – he will be forced to sit out of Sunday’s encounter with the Nerazzurri.
Italian international Baselli is joined on the list of doubts for the trip to the San Siro by defensive duo Armando Izzo and Lorenzo De Silvestri who both remain focused on their personalised training regimes for their respective injuries sustained in the 1-0 loss to Roma on the opening weekend.
