La Liga president Javier Tebas has taken yet another swipe at Inter, despite the threat of legal action from Inter existing following comments he made last week.

Last week Tebas slammed the effectiveness of Financial Fair Play while also accusing some of the top clubs of being state-run and thus affecting the transfer market and has further reiterated his stance on the matter in an interview today.

“Financial Fair Play sanctions? I am pessimistic about them as I see that UEFA does not address the issue as it should do. They have to take the bull by the horns,” he said in an interview with one of Spain’s top newspapers Mundo Deportivo.

He continued, “For PSG and Manchester City, but also others such as Inter, there is no need for them to have a state behind them. This causes inflation and dumping in areas highly regulated such as the La Liga.”
