The last chapter in the Luka Modric to Inter transfer saga is yet to be written. At least that is what Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio believes.
The noted journalist was interviewed by Italian media outlet RMC Sport where he was asked among other things his thoughts on the transfer that never was to be to which he replied: “I think that there could be new developments soon, the player is determined. He wants to move to Milano where he will find his Croatian friends, and he wants to undertake this new challenge.
“Sure tings change, he will need to understand how the league and as well as how the Champions League goes. I know that [Real Madrid President Florentino] Perez had made a promise to Modric which he did not keep. Inter have done what they could, they could not have behaved in any other manner” Di Marzio concluded.
