Spalletti Tempted To Start Nainggolan In Inter vs Torino

Radja Nainggolan’s recovery has tempted manager Luciano Spalletti in to starting him from the first whistle on Sunday night against Torino but in all likelihood the Belgian will start from the bench according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Spalletti will call on him for Torino but Ninjja will not go beyond the bench, at least initially. The possibility of aggravating the injury must be avoided especially ahead of a September full of commitments. He remains the player able to change the face of Inter. Spalletti knows that and somehow he is forced to curb his desire to throw the midfielder immediately among the starters.”

Nainggolan, who joined the Nerazzurri this summer from fellow Serie A side Roma, returned to full training with his teammates yesterday following a month’s worth of following a personalised training regime having picked up and injury during Inter’s second pre-season friendly against FC Sion.
