According to reports in the last few hours released by BeIn Sports, Tottenham are also interested in bringing in their former player, Luka Modric, back to the premier league in the next transfer window in January.
Furthermore, according to the reports, Tottenham would offer the player the same economic conditions as offered by Inter this summer. However, they are so far missing any agreement after seeing the obstacles that arose with Real Madrid in the wake of the unsuccessful negotiations with the Nerazzurri over the Summer.
It is not known whether Modric’s agent has offered his services to Tottenham as they did with the Nerazzurri and thus whether this would unleash the further wrath of Florentino Perez, who has already announced legal actions against Inter.
The Modric saga seems no closer to coming to an end, and despite the closure of the Italian transfer window, the fallout and possible future transfer rumours still persist.
