Former attacking midfielder and Inter player, Domenico Morfeo, spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport and discusses his opinion on the scudetto and the rivalry between Inter and Juve this season.
Has the scudetto already been decided?
“Juve are always going to be favorites, Allegri will have to be good at finding the balance of the team after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo this Summer.”
Are Inter the main rivals for Juventus this season?
“Yes, they have the qualities to really challenge Juventus. They have strengthened a lot this Summer and it is up to Spalletti to assemble a team that can challenge the Bianconeri.”
The former Nerazzurri player then goes on to speak about his memories at Inter: “I appreciate Hector Cuper, especially as a person and not just as a coach. Inter is a top club that will return to the levels that they deserve, the Champions League is just the first step.”
