Italian national team manager, Roberto Mancini, was interviewed by Radio Deejay during ‘Deejay Football Club’ by hosts Ivan Zazzaroni and Fabio Caressa.

Mancini talks about the amount of foreigners in the Serie A in comparison to the amount of Italians this season: “I think it’s a problem, I always hope that more Italians will play, also because young people can learn a lot by playing. We might not have a Totti right now, but we can definitely have some very capable players. We need players who can raise the overall quality of Italians, like Balotelli who is still in Nice. In my opinion, the most important thing is that you get playing time.”

When asked about Cristiano Ronaldo, he responded with a little joke: “In Italy we had another Ronaldo that was not bad, but Cristiano is one that raises the quality of the entire league. I think that Inter, right behind Juve, have been the team that have improved the most on the transfer market.”
