Inter winger Matteo Politano stopped by media outlet Pressing after the 2-2 draw against Torino at home at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.
The former Sassuolo man was visibly disappointed as he tried to explain what happened stating that: “we started the first half off really well, we did what the coach asked us to do and managed to go two goals in front. Then we suffered a blackout after Belotti scored his goal. These things cannot happen, we cannot allow ourselves to draw a match that we are managing really well.
“In the first match against Sassuolo we were not helped by the pitch’s condition but today we through everything away in those ten minutes. We are very upset, also for all the people that cam to the stadium” Politano concluded.
Politano, who joined Inter this summer from Sassuolo, gave an all-round good performance setting up Stefan de Vrij for Inter’s second goal via a great free-kick.
