Sime Vrsaljko spoke with Inter TV after making his Inter debut in the 2-2 draw with Torino wherein he was forced off the pitch with injury.

“I have a bit of pain, but it’s nothing serious and I’ll be ready for the next game. I’m sorry to our fans for the result.

“In the first half we were good, then after their first goal we did not manage to get back to doing what we know we can, we need to get up, think positive and look forward together.”

The Croatian international, who was one of the last to return to training, then spoke on his psychical condition.

I trained for just two weeks and it takes time to get to the right condition but there are no excuses. When it comes to going on the pitch it is always necessary to give 100% even though tonight it was not enough.”

Vrsaljko concluded the interview by sharing his feelings about playing at the San Siro.

“It’s really different. It’s a beautiful environment. Inter is a great club.”
