Former Inter youth coach Kevin Cauet has called for Inter manager Luciano Spalletti to stick with one system in a bid to get Inter back on track after a poor start to the season.

“I think Inter need more tactical coherence. Spalletti, especially at the start of the season and with a lot of new players, should in my opinion choose just one system and stick to it for at least 4-5 games and not change it every match,” Cauet said in an interview with Sport Italia.

Cauet proceeded to speak on some of the new arrivals and how they fit in as well as discussing some players performances thus far.

“Sime Vrsaljko and Kwadwo Asamoah were signed for a 3-4-3 but I think they detract a bit from Perisic and Politano. Lautaro Martinez? I do not think he was the only one guilty of not performing in the defeat to Sassuolo. Instead I think Marcelo Brozovic and Matias Vecino together have failed and they were not helped by their inadequate physical conditions.”
