Former Nerazzurri striker Diego Milito was interviewed by Tyc Sports where he spoke about how Inter’s new signing Lautaro Martinez is getting along in the Serie A after leaving Racing Avellanada in Argentina, the club where Milito is the Sporting Director at.
The former Genoa and Inter striker was asked about his thoughts on how well Lautaro Martinez has adapted since making the switch from Argentina’s Primera Division to the Italian Serie A: “I cannot enter into the head of the coach, but it seemed very strange to me too that he came on towards the end of the match against Torino. He had a great pre-season, he scored goals and it is normal that he needs time adapt.”
In conclusion the treble hero from 2010 underlined that: “Lautaro, as everyone knows, has a big future ahead of him, he needs to learn a lot of things, but without any doubt we are at the beginning of a player’s career who could give a lot of joy to Argentinian football.”
