Italian journalist Bruno Longhi has spoken on Inter’s tactics in wake of the 2-2 draw with Torino on Sunday wherein they squandered a two goal lead and collapsed in the second half despite a top performance in the first half.
“If you play with three defenders, you have to have attacking full backs. Obviously, the game was changed by the mistakes of the Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, but Sime Vrsaljko’s contribution was lacking in the offensive phase.
“The tactical set-up still largely depends on Radja Nainggolan’s debut but Inter manager Luciano Spalletti has a real puzzle on his hands for sure,” Longhi said in an interview with Radio Sportiva held earlier today.
Longhi then spoke on Inter’s wing situation where they are certainly not short of options this season.
“After a transfer market focused on bringing in some new wingers now there is perhaps too many with Antonio Candreva, Matteo Politano, Keita Balde, Ivan Perisic and Yann Karamoh,” he concluded.
