Real Betis are closing in on completing a deal to sign Rafinha from Barcelona according to a report from Spanish newspaper Sport.
All parties are in agreement over a move involving the Brazilian and it will soon be made official. Negotiations initially looked set to collapse as the clubs could not agree on a formula but have now solved that issue.
With Rafinha all but set to join the Seville based club, it almost certainly means it is curtains for Inter midfielder Joao Mario’s hopes of joining the Andalusian outfit. Several offers have arrived over the summer for the 25-year-old Portuguese midfielder but none have quite enticed him like Betis’ did, so much so he even agreed personal terms with them.
With just a few days left until the summer transfer window shuts across Europe, it is looking increasingly likely that the EURO 2016 champion will be sticking around at the San Siro.
