Rafinha’s potential move to Real Betis has been placed on standby as Barcelona evaluate their options to try and avoid another Inter-like situation wherein he is loaned out with a redemption option but the option is not taken up according to a report from Spanish outlet Sport.
Rafinha has agreed personal terms with the Seville based club and both the clubs have a deal in principle. Barcelona are wanting to ensure payment at the end of the loan and could even offer Betis a discount in order to make them accept a loan obligation.
The report goes on to state that Betis would be fine with an obligation but only under certain conditions as they firstly wish to test the 25-year-old Brazilian before committing to him.
Despite this stall in negotiations, everything at this stage points toward the midfielder being a player of the Verdiblancos before the window closes on Friday night.
