Kwadwo Asamoah’s chances of recovering for Inter’s match against Bologna this weekend have received a boost after the Ghanaian trained with the rest of the Nerazzurri’s first team on Thursday morning.
Asamoah sustained an ankle injury during the 2-2 draw with Torino on Sunday and was thought to be in doubt for the trip to the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, where Luciano Spalletti’s side will continue their search for their first win of the new season, but the midfielder’s conditions are improving and he could yet be included in the match-day squad.
Inter’s training session this morning was their fourth of the week ahead of Saturday’s 18:00 kick-off, after which they will pause for the first international break of the 2018-19 season.
The players started with some gym work before moving onto the exercise bikes, after which attention switched to the pitch and work with the ball. The outdoor session was characterised by a long tactical debrief from Spalletti.
