If not for sensational offers arriving both Antonio Candreva and Joao Mario wish to remain at Inter and fight for their place in Luciano Spalletti’s side according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
Candreva attracted interest from Monaco earlier in the summer and it was mooted at the time that he could have been sent the other way in the deal that saw Keita Balde arrive from the principality club. Candreva however requested time, believably to weigh up what effect moving elsewhere would have on his family with his wife expecting a child. Despite the transfer market interest, Candreva has never slacked and continued to give his all in training even though he has yet to feature at all for Inter this campaign.
Joao Mario on the other hand has knocked back several proposals from Turkey and has now set his sights on making up for lost time at the club. If he continues on the path he is on in training, he could earn himself a re-call that seemed nigh on impossible earlier in the summer.
