Alessandro Bastoni has been presented to his new fans at Parma: “I chose Parma after speaking with the manager and the coach and for the project, this is an ambitious club, and I was also born 40Km from here, so I often came to see the team play when I was younger: it’s an emotional bond with the club.” Alessandro Bastoni, owned by Inter, is on loan with the Ducali this year.
Reassuring them also on his physical condition after his meniscus operation in July: “My recovery is going well, we are on target for the time set out. Even though I didn’t play much with Atalanta, I think that experience gave me an important technical and physical background, experiencing certain matches such as the Europa League gives you something extra, I cannot wait to take the field and show my value.”
Speaking to journalists present in the press room of Collecchio, Bastoni also spoke about his role-models: “My point of reference has always been Sergio Ramos, getting to be like him is very difficult, I always try to watch his games to learn as much as possible. Another role-model is Caldara, I have been able to see him at Atalanta for two years: besides his way of playing I have had the pleasure of getting to know the person, he is a really exceptional guy, I will also be able to learn from Bruno Alves here at Parma.”
