In an interview with StadioSport.it, former Nerazzurri defender Francesco Colonnese spoke about the current Inter team and their chances this season: “Despite their start, I believe Inter can still get close to Juventus and Napoli. I expect them to be fighting for an important place until the last days of the season.”

Colonnese then reminisced on his career in the black and blue: “Ronaldo was the strongest teammate I ever played alongside. One thing I will never forget was the foul by Iuliano on him. It always springs to the front of my mind and I still hear it being discussed today. With the VAR, I know it would have been a clear penalty.”

Finally, the former defender was asked which coach taught him the most: “Among all the great coaches I worked with, it is difficult to choose just one. I gained a lot from my time with Gigi Simoni and Mircea Lucescu at Inter.”
