What looked to have been a completed deal with ASSE St. Etienne is no more as Ligue 1 rivals Bordeaux have overtaken them in the race to sign Inter’s young French winger Yann Karamoh Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports.

According to the report, Bordeaux have secured the services of the youngster on a season long dry loan from the Nerazzurri where he will gain much needed first team experience at a club that also competes in the Europa League.

Karamoh did not train with the Nerazzurri today as reported earlier, as he was on his way to fly to France and undergo the mandatory medical examinations before putting pen to paper on a season long loan. There are no options to buy included in the contract, it is a straight dry loan which means that the young Frenchman will return to Appiano Gentile after the end of the season, hopefully after having gained much needed first team experience.
