During an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Livorno coach, Cristiano Lucarelli shared his opinion and views about the race for the scudetto this season.
“Have Roma, Milan, and Inter already lost a lot of ground? It is normal to have difficulties at the beginning of the season, especially when a lot has changed (in terms of ownership for Milan, and transfers for Inter and Roma.) Obviously Juventus are still the absolute favorites to win the title, but I am convinced that Napoli will give them a hard time and fight all the way until the end.
“I’m also looking at Inter as they have all the necessary means to recover, we just need to have some patience and give Spalletti time in order to be able to insert all the new signings into the team and find the right tactics to help the team gel and the results will come” Lucarelli concluded.
