During an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Fabio Cannavaro shared his opinion on Juventus and how he thinks they will continue to dominate the Serie A this season.

Are Juventus unbeatable?

“The Bianconeri are a very strong and very scary team to face, and that is not only because of Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival. For example, Emre Can is a player that I really like and Allegri is a coach who always knows how to adjust the team and get the best out of them.”

Are Juve focusing on the Champions League as it seems like they will have an easy walk to their 8th scudetto?

“In my opinion, the gap in the Serie A has increased, because the clubs that are chasing Juve have not improved in their infrastructure. Juventus have opened a new sports center and now they have the top women’s team. As a club, Juve were not afraid to change, they had to end their relationships with Buffon and Marchisio but they knew what they needed to do on the market. Even though Inter, Milan, and Roma have all made important signings during the transfer window, I still believe that Juventus are a considerable distance ahead of all the other clubs in the league.”

Even Napoli with their new coach Ancelotti?

“Carlo will do very well, but I meant it in more of a general sense, it is not just a matter of buying the league.”
