Inter finally got their first 3 points of the season when winning 3-0 away at the Stadio Renato D’all Ara, to go into the international break with a smile on the faces of themselves and their fans. Radja Nainggolan scored on his debut for Inter to unlock a very disciplined Bologna.

Samir Handanovic – 6.5: Fantastic first half save to keep us in the game. Did his job well today, was not kept busy and these are the games that are tough as we found out.

Danilo D’Ambrosio – 5: Not his finest game. Struggled to attack or defend and never looked to utilize the vast spaces given to him. Too many horizontal passes all the time.

Stefan De Vrij – 6.5: Three games and has been steady in all of them. Unbelievable that Inter signed him for free from a direct rival. Moved the ball much better in the 2nd half.

Milan Skriniar – 7: Skriniar does what he wants. All the time. Its his world and we are only living in it. Should have scored today but overall they never got past him. Beast.

Kwadwo Asamoah – 6: Too timid in his approach especially in the first half. Just like Danilo D’Ambrosio on the other side. Decided to attack a little more in the 2nd. More of that please.

Roberto Gagliardini – 6:  Again not his best game but he took his chance well. When he gave the ball away he won it back. Stupid booking to take at the end though. Steady.

Marcelo Brozovic – 6: Was always moving the ball but his long summer was showing up towards the end. Focal point of Inter’s play in the 2nd half and will come good again.

Matteo Politano – 6.5: Shrewd signing. Doesn’t stop running and can actually take some decent set pieces. Fantastic assist for Radja and it wasn’t the only time he did that.

Radja Nainggolan – 7: Radja was signed to open up these games. In the poor first half he was the only positive on the field. What control and what a finish to cap off his debut with.

Ivan Perisic – 7: Like Brozovic his summer is still showing up. Was outnumbered in the first half but kept fighting and used the spaces well. A goal and an assist. Brilliant.

Keita Balde – 6: Wouldn’t have imagined his first start would be in the number 9 role. When he played out wide he looked lively. Should have scored today. Onwards and upwards.

Matias Vecino – 6.5: Brilliant impact off the bench. He would have pleased his coach today. Played a fantastic pass to Perisic twice and they resulted in 2 goals. Supersub.

Antonio Candreva – 7: Whatever was done to Candreva in the summer seems to have worked. Had a spring in his step from the moment he was on. Brand new signing.

Sime Vrsaljko – N/A: Caused Bologna more trouble in his 9 minutes than Danilo D’Ambrosio did in his 85 minutes. When he’s 100% Inter will have a brilliant attacking full back to watch.

Luciano Spalletti – 6.5: Turned the team around with his half time talk. Went back to the 4 man defense and got the result in spite of absences. Experience cant be replaced.

Di Bello – 3.5: Shockingly poor in the first half. Gave Bologna easy and soft free kicks and similar ones to Inter were denied. Should have used VAR when Radja was punched in the face.

Inter – 6.5 : Great start, huge gaping silence in the middle and then one goal sparked Inter out of their shell. Might have kick started their season and confidence with this win.
