Former Italian national team manager Cesare Prandelli believes the Italian contingent competing in this year’s Champions League will do ‘great.’

“I think they will do great in the Champions League because they are all well equipped sides. They have capable coaches and also players with personality. This competition gives you a different kind of adrenaline. Although, it is clear that there are three teams that are one step above the others and I am talking about Paris St. Germain, Liverpool and Manchester City,” Prandelli, who last managed Emirati club Al Nasr Dubai, said in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport today.

Inter, Juventus, Roma and Napoli will all be competing on behalf of Italy this year in European football’s premier continental competition. The competition gets underway in little under two weeks time and will end at Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano stadium in June when the final will be played.
