Former Inter and Juventus forward Roberto Boninsegna still attends games of his former clubs as and when he can and spoke to Tuttosport on two of the games he has been able to take in this season.

“I am a strange animal as I am an Inter fan but also a Juventus fan at the same time. Strange isn’t it? I went and seen Inter away to Sassuolo and they did not do very well and seen Juventus away to Parma also.”

Boninsegna also spoke on the strength in depth of the Juventus squad.

“The players who Juventus have on the bench could win the league themselves. Juventus were already strong but now they also have Cristiano Ronaldo. When he begins to score he will not stop.”

Boninsegna joined Inter in 1969 and stayed at the club for seven years and scored over 100 times in a Nerazzurri shirt and joined Juventus where he would stay for three years. Between his spells with both clubs he picked up two Capocannoniere awards, three scudetti, a Coppa Italia and a UEFA Cup.
