Corriere dello Sport believe Inter, despite making numerous signings in the summer transfer window, are still missing something.

While Inter’s top priority at the moment is extending Mauro Icardi’s contract, another priority of theirs is signing another midfielder similar to the build of China bound Mousa Dembele and an attacker of sorts.

Inter could look to take advantage of their relationship with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho and take a typically out-of-favour player under him off his hands in Anthony Martial. The Frenchman has under a year left on his contract at Old Trafford and could either acquire him a bit cheaper than they could have expected had the contract been longer come January or sign him on a pre-contract.

The report from the Rome based newspaper also brings up full back Matteo Darmian’s name again. The Italian international, like Martial, has an expiring contract and has previously shown a desire to make a move back to Italy.
