Two of Inter’s three Croatian international players will start in tonight’s friendly fixture against Portugal, Croatian national team manager Zlatko Delic announced yesterday.
During the official pre-match press conference Dalic was asked who plays and proceeded to name his starting line-up which consists of two Inter players, Ivan Perisic and Sime Vrsaljko. The third Nerazzurri player, Marcelo Brozovic, will start the match on the bench but former Inter player, Marko Livaja will start the match as the lone striker.
Several players from the team that made it to the FIFA World Cup Final this past summer have retired from international football, such as Juventus’ Mario Madzukic and Monaco’s Danijel Subasic.
