Inter have sent well wishes in the direction of former midfielder Dejan Stankovic who today celebrates his 40th birthday.

“The Drago is on fire. Happy Birthday Deki,” The Nerazzurri posted to their official Twitter feed as an accompanying caption to his iconic strike against Schalke from the half way line.

The Serbian midfielder spent nine years on Inter’s books between 2004 and 2013 and made a grand total of 326 appearances for the Nerazzurri in that time, scoring 42 times and tallying 39 assists.
