According to Sportmediaset, the story involving Luka Modric and Inter is not over yet. The Croatian champion, who is currently busy with his national team and has celebrated his 33rd birthday a few days ago, has been in contact with his Croatian friends at Inter. He is now entering the final year of his contract with Real Madrid and he might not have to wait until the Summer for a move to Inter.
The Croatian would like to be part of the ambitious project at Inter and wants to challenge Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus, but convincing Florentino Perez will still be a difficult task, especially after the legal action that took place recently. However, Modric wants to try, he is hoping that Inter can remain in the Champions League in order to take advantage of thew new rules that would allow him to play for them even after playing for Real Madrid.
Inter remain interested while still being cautious, Ausilio could present an offer in January.
